Claire Kantor

Associate I

Claire grew up in the Denver area exploring the outdoors through skiing, hiking, and biking. She traded the Rocky Mountains for the rocky shorelines of New England to attend Boston College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Studies. This study combo allowed her to examine the many ways human behavior is influenced by the natural and built environment and it is what inspired her to pursue a career in climate action.

Upon graduation, Claire spent some time in the non-profit world, beginning in environmental education and working her way over to the Climate Action Collaborative for the Eagle County community: a partnership network focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and helping the county become more resilient. Here, she engaged in research, collected and analyzed data, authored articles, and generally supported the implementation of the county’s Climate Action Plan.

Claire is excited to utilize both quantitative and qualitative skills to support Lotus’ clients in progressing their sustainability and climate-driven goals. She is grateful for the team and the partners who are passionate about creating impactful change.

On wild land, wild thoughts can flourish. There, we can feel all the ragged edges of what we do not know, and we make room for other living things to live differently
