Brendan grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and ventured out to Colorado to attend the University of Denver, where he focused on Strategic Communication, Psychology, and Marketing. His love for sustainability blossomed when he was a part of an environmental sustainability program. The program exposed him to climate-related issues, environmental science and sustainability initiatives. His Russian background, passion for traveling and love of languages brought him to study abroad in Hungary, where he completed social media and marketing work for the university. Since then Brendan has worked for a local nonprofit and creative advertising agency performing marketing, communications, writing, graphic design and social media work.
